Mary Wagner - Canadian pro-life activist.

Biography

Wagner was born in 1974 in Nanaimo and grew up in Tsawwassen, British Columbia.

She comes from a large Catholic family. Wagner graduated from English and Romani studies at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. For many years she has been an anti-abortion activist, criticizing abortion as the murder of an unborn child.[1] She protested in private abortion clinics in Toronto praying and handing out white roses along with information pamphlets about the value of human life.[2] Wagner was arrested for the first time in 2012.[3] Following a nearly two-year-long trial, Judge Fergus O'Donnell found Wagner guilty of the charges, sentencing her to nine-month imprisonment and a two-year probationary limitation on being around abortion clinics.[4] She left prison on June 12, 2014.

On December 23, 2014, after entering the Bloor West Village Women's Clinic abortion facility in Toronto she has been arrested again and charged with disruption of business operations.[5][6][7]
