    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions or rejected Articles for creation drafts), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.

    This page is only for requesting undeletion of articles or files which have already been deleted. If the article you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page. Please do not request that articles deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, G4, G5, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Vijoo Krishnan

    Though the article was poorly written but there are plenty of references which shows that the person is notable enough to be included to wiki-space. He is not one-event-notable, but has been covered widely in the news. Though the article itself failed to point-out the references, but its easier to add those references and make the article much more solid, instead of just deleting it. 8==8 Boneso did some research and tried to improve the article. I can add more references here/ or in the article (if restored). Though most of the references in the article were interviews of him in the recent past due to his sudden increased popularity, so his other works/writings about various issues were not highlighted on top in various search engines. Some of the references are : [1][2][3][4].

    Besides that he has written a series of research articles in peer-reviewed journals highlighting the current state of peasants across India.[5] [6] His other activities includes the fight to demand land rights for the landless, rights over the Bagair-Hukum land and Forest Land for the Adivasis etc etc which also covered reasonably well in the media sources.[7] There are enough reasons to undelete and improve the article. —Logical1004 (talk) 17:01, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

    • I like your work, Logical1004. I couldn't really argue against WP:1E at the time because I had trouble finding other reliable sources. Many of them were interviews which carry little weight and spoke mostly of the march. I was aware of his student union activities, but could not locate enough sources to reliably cite them.       • I can understand that as the event was most popular all over India, hence it was widely publicized and hence in most of the news all of his recent march was the front news. Top search engines were filled with the recent farmers march and his interviews, but he is a well-known scholar and raised many peasants issues at the national level.     Fred (bicycling)

    I was listening to a Way with Words podcast that referenced this article and was disappointed to find it had been deleted. I think there are more references to this term today [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] than there were back in 2013, and request it be restored (with full history) in my user space as User:Born2cycle/Fred (bicycling) so I can review it and improve it and hopefully revive it in article space.       • @ReaderofthePack:, my apologies. I understood from WP:UNDELETE that this is the mechanism for requesting the userification, as I did. It says: This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace,. At this time I'm requesting userification. After seeing it and deciding if it can be improved, and I'm able to improve it, I'll request via WP:RM that it be moved (with history) back to main space. Since it had been previously deleted per AfD, I presuming moving it back into main space is potentially controversial and thus I would need to go through RM.     This is a note from the requester. Sorry I had that in my sandbox because the page I created was deleted and I was hoping to make it better and resubmit at some point. Now I don't know where to even get a copy of the info to save it for that purpose.     Balkrishna

    This article was deleted here (quite ill-advisedly even after an admin recommended a keep). Then the article was recreated with some of the same content a few months later (at Acharya Balkrishna, previously a redirect). But all the history has now been lost. I would like the original page refunded so that the history and many legitimate contributions (including mine) are not lost and can perhaps be reincorporated.     The topic of the article, I have the impression, was an important part of the childhood of a generation of Chinese people. I have been told that most Chinese children watched the show during the school holidays. Once when I mentioned the show to Chinese people whom I had met that day, they began to sing together the theme tune. As a final illustration, I once heard a Chinese friend ask their countryman (facetiously, of course), upon hearing that their countryman had not watched the show as a child, whether their countryman was truly Chinese.     @DBigXray: I restored the history of the user page. You can look in the history for the stuff you want. It isn't easy to restore revisions to another page name, they get restored to their original page, and then I'd have to figure out how to perform a partial move. Not worth the trouble. None of them had any edits made to them since and none has any content beyond a skeleton lead and section headers which relate to Alabama rather than the place the draft is for.
