Conrad Schirokauer is an American historian and writer. He specializes in East Asian historiography, particularly Chinese and Japanese history.

Schirokauer graduated high school from Williston Academy.[1] He completed his BA in history at Yale, and his PhD in history at Stanford.[2] He is currently a professor of history at the City University of New York.[2]

Schirokauer currently resides in New York City.[1]
