Ungarala Rambabu Review: Ranga (Prakash Raj) believes in the communist philosophy. So much so that he disses foreign products and deeply dislikes capitalist consumerism. He is the most respected man of a village in Kerala and when his daughter Miya (Savithri) falls for her boss Rambabu, a flamboyant businessman who runs a successful travel business, Ranga challenges him to prove his worth which Rambabu accepts.
==Plot==
Ram Babu(Sunil) is a rich man who loses everything after his grand father’s death. Left with no choice, he visits Badam Baba(Posani) for some solace. Upon his suggestion, Ram Babu goes to a barren land and starts planting a tree. To his luck, he finds gold biscuits worth 200 crores and he, once again becomes rich.
This incident makes him a strong believer in astrology. But as time passes, he starts incurring losses in his business. Once again, the baba asks him to marry a certain girl(Miya George) in his office to become safe in life. The twist is the tale arises when Ram Babu is pit against the girl’s dad(Prakash Raj) who is a communist in nature. Rest of the story is as to how Ram Babu wins his love and becomes successful in life.

This is when the plot of Ungarala Rambabu takes pace. The plot is weaved around the ideological conflict between Ranga and Ramababu and in the process takes a dig at both the political systems – communism and capitalism.

To think of the movie to be a solemn one, however, won’t be correct. The script does have some entertainment moments that will glue the audience to their seats. From the beginning to the end there is enough humour in the script to keep tickling the funny bones of the audience every now and then.
