Dario Gjergja (born August 21, 1975) is a Croatian[1] professional basketball coach who is currently the head coach of B.C. Oostende.
Coaching career
Gjergja signed with Telenet BC Oostende in December 2011. He was the Coach of the Year in Belgium in the 2012–13 season.[2] In May 2014, he extended his contract with 3 more years, including a clause to leave the team in case he received an offer from a EuroLeague team.[3][4] In February 2017 Dario Gjergja has extended his contract with Telenet Oostende for four more years. He was an assistant coach of Croatia national team at the EuroBasket 2015 under staff of Velimir Perasović. Since September 2018 he's the head coach of the Belgium national basketball team and he also gained the Belgian nationality.
