YUKOS is an abbriviation. YUganskneftegas + KuibyshevnefteOrgSintez = YUKOS As well, www.yukos.com uses the abbriviation.

Did you hear the Tuesday, November 16 webcast with CFO Bruce K. Misamore and CEO Steven M. Theede ([1]), ([2]), (Presentation)?
