"the story of a group of Allied soldiers" -- I'm not sure that this is precise. It seemed to me that all the POWs in this film were American, with the possible exception of Russian women in another section that I don't think were shown.

Yes I thought that as well. But you do see the Russian women in one scene so I suppose "Allied soldiers" is probably the best description.

Movie a Farce

At the end when the Spy is exposed and theSgt escapes, the POWS go to sleep while the Germans look at the body of thedead spy. In real life the Germans would have:
- 1) Mounted a search mission for escaping POWS and probably caught them
- 2) Demanded who exposed the spy
- 3) At the mininum shot 5 men in revenge
- 4) Turned the rest over to the Gestapo & Concentration Camps

This is not a message board. And do a better job when you treat it like one.
