Comment: Same issues as the last submission; the Bloomberg source is not in-depth enough to confer notability, the source cited about the Papal conference (which does not even mention Marchinonni) constitutes a trivial mention, and the article written for Time Magazine, while usable to illustrate the subject's views, is WP:PRIMARY and thus cannot be used to establish the subject's notability. - Comment: Subject seems to fail WP:ANYBIO, and the draft fails to meet WP:SIGCOV. Sources cited in an article must be in-depth (beyond press release or standard announcements) and independent to establish the notability of a subject, and no such sources are cited in the draft as it stands. WP:PRIMARY is another issue, as many of the sources cited contain copious amounts of primary information from interviews or statements made by the subject. Federica Marchionni (born December 23, 1971) is an Italian-American businesswoman who has been profiled or featured in The New York Times[1], Forbes[2][3], The Wall Street Journal[4], Glamour[5], Marie Claire[6] and Women’s Wear Daily.[7] Marchionni served from February 2015 to September 2016 as CEO of American clothing online retailer Lands' End, the first Italian woman to lead an American company listed on Wall Street.[7][8]
She was named one of Fortune magazine’s “Most Powerful Women” in 2015.[9]
She currently serves as International Chief Executive Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of Secoo Group (NASDAQ: SECO), the second largest online luxury retailer in China.[7][10]
Early life
Marchionni graduated summa cum laude from Sapienza University of Rome with a Master's degree in Business Administration.[11]
Career
Marchionni was appointed in July 2018 as Secoo International Chief Executive Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of Secoo Group.[12]
In February 2015, at Lands’ End, Marchionni became the first Italian woman to have led an American company listed on Wall Street[13][14] when she became CEO of Lands' End.[15] She resigned from her position at Lands' End in September 2016.[16] Marchionni worked for over a decade at Dolce&Gabbana headquarters. Most recently, she served as the President of Dolce & Gabbana USA Inc.[17] Before moving to the U.S. Marchionni held a position as Senior Vice-President at Ferrari.[18]
Philanthropy
Marchionni attended the 2016 Global Forum in Rome, where Fortune 500 and Time 100 leaders engaged with the Pope to forge a new social compact for the 21st century.[19][20] Marchionni also serves on the advisory council of Acumen.[21] Marchionni partnered with the Metropolitan Opera and Consulate General of Italy to offer Italian subtitles of the theater’s Italian operas for the first time.[17] Marchionni also was a member of the Corporate Fund Board of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.[22][23]
Personal life
Marchionni is married with one son, Gabriel.[24]
