Habung [Assamese;- হাবুং] is a region [fifth capital of the Tai Ahom kingdom] in between Pachim Dhemaji & Dhakuakhana under undivided Dhemaji district in bank of Korha & Charikodiya rivers in Assam Sukaphaa's 5th capital. The name originates from Tai Ahom language [haa=five bung=to be king] as it was fifth capital of Tai Ahom kingdom.
