Nazia Hassan (Urdu: نازیہ حسن) (b. April 3 1965 d. August 13, 2000) was a famous Pakistani pop singer. Born into a well-to-do Karachi family, Nazia came as a teenager to London. Nazia, who had a London University law degree, lived most of her life in Britain, but always returned to her roots in Pakistan. She died in 2000 due to lung cancer at the age of 35, leaving a husband and son..
