Mesih Mehmed Pasha Mosque (Template:Lang-tr), is an Ottoman mosque in the Fatih district of Istanbul. It was endowed by one of Murad III's grand Viziers, Mesih Mehmed Pasha and designed by the imperial architect Mimar Sinan. The mosque was completed in 1585-86.
The mosque is on Eski Ali Paşa Street in the Hırka-i Şerif neighborhood of Istanbul's Fatih district. In his autobiography Gift of the Architects (Tuḥfetü’l-miʿmārīn), Mimar Sinan lists the mosque as one for which he had been responsible for the design.[1] The dome of the mosque is 12.8 metres (42 ft) in diameter. Mesih Mehmed Pasha came from a Christian family in Bosnia. His mausoleum was completed in 1587 and he died in 1589.[1]
