SoundScan Info
Just thought I'd clarify that the SoundScan sales total I added for the single is verified. The total downloads in the U.S. for "Ridin'" are 1,248,531 as of 9/24/06, though it is falling on the chart (only sold 13,700 that week). Note that is for the regular single, not for the ringtone.

I need to listen to them so I can confrim that they are real songs, where did you listen to them Bazel 21:08, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
You need to listen to them? Why you need to confirm? That is a official remix! Chamillionaire even leaked it to the internet! ~Sassychick1898
They're real man
There's a promo single out for the LA one, atleast. Has clean, dirty, and instrumental of the remix. (Rishi B 00:04, 11 July 2006 (UTC))
Trvia Section
I removed thre Trivia section as it's uncyclopedic and violates WP:NOT, nothing to merge anyways, articles should not have them. Thanks Jaranda wat's sup 18:00, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Redirect from "riding dirty" entry?
When querying "riding dirty", I was redirected to this entry. However, there is no explanation of how "riding dirty" relates to this article. Perhaps somebody could include that information in this article.
- Anyone who would search for riding dirty would think that it is the name of the song, as it is repeated constantly throughout it. That's what I thought the song was. Therefore, anyone who would be redirected here would already understand why. Theunknown42 05:46, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Actually, I was looking for the definition of the term, not info about the song. Lizard sf 16:48, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I'd also like to know what the term means. --Arctic Gnome 05:54, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hey everyone! URBAN DICTIONARY! oTHErONE (Contribs) 10:10, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
It's either a re-direct to Ridin', or a definition. The term 'Ridin' Dirty' miscomcepted as the real song name is more highly used then the term ridin' dirty, which would describe something. Therefore it is logical to re-direct the 'Ridin' Dirty' link. pirkid 03:30, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
Racial profiling < Actual mentions of vehicle/traffic violations
Multiple references in this song bring up vehicle violations that would result in a police officer making a traffic stop: Window tint being too dark, stereo being too loud, drunk/wreckless driving. Let alone shooting somebody.
In any of these instances where the driver would get pulled over, the mere fact that the person had violated a law, no matter how small, may result in a warrantless search of the car (Whren v. United States). If that were the case, then the weapons described in the song, unless having a CCW, would be a felony. If large amounts of cash were found as well, then it could be seized due to a possibility of narcotics trafficing.
I'm just saying that the song complains about being pulled over for racial profiling, yet multiple reasons are given to be pulled over without racial profiling.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by D crest13 (talk • contribs) .
- Not to mention multiple warrants our for his arrest?140.247.47.139
- This may be true, but I don't see how this could be added to the article without it seeming very POV. —JeremyBanks Talk 03:53, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Flaming thing
What is the flaming thing behind Chamillionaire? It was Pac-Man on Weird Al's version.
Its The Color Changin' Click & Chamillitary Entertainment logo, the Chameleon. Bazel 18:38, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
air pollution?
How is this song about air pollution? Jedi feline 05:40, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
parody
There's no mention of White and Nerdy on this page at all. Given that Chamillionaire has stated that he enjoyed the parody of Ridin', and the parody's success has in turn boosted the popularity of the original song, I think there should at least be one sentence at least mentioning it... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.235.249.80 (talk) 19:51, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:RidinChamillionaire.jpg
Image:RidinChamillionaire.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Ridin' Dirty the UGK album
Can anyone explain why "ridin' dirty" in lowercase redirects to the article Ridin' while "Ridin' Dirty" with capital letters redirects to the Ridin' Dirty album by UGK?
TuckerResearch (talk) 09:59, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- Fixed. Ridin' dirty should redirect to the album now. Jafeluv (talk) 13:52, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
L.A. version
The West Coast version with The Game is real, it appears in Game's mixtape The Face of L.A. Flesh-n-Bone 22:11, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Remixes
Moved the talk section taht was above the table of contents to here.Pir (talk) 14:30, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
I've never heard these remixes
- L.A. Remix - The Game, DJ Quik.
- Bay Area Remix - Keak Da Sneak, Mistah F.A.B, and San Quinn.
- Atlanta [Unofficial] Remix - Big Boi, Lil' Scrappy, T.I., Young Jeezy
how do we know they are real Bazel 20:19, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
Its not LA remix its the official west coast remix the one with Dj quick and Game I dont know about the rest though...
I listened them and I agree, they aren't even remotely related to the orginal song, although I don't listen to rap music regularly myself. Leavebeaver2me
Merge of Ridin' and Ridin' (Chamillionaire song)
The two articles, Ridin' and Ridin' (Chamillionaire song) seem to have duplicated content, although it doesn't seem to be exactly the same.
I'm proposing a merge into Ridin'. Although there are other songs titled Ridin', the Chamillionaire version seems to have retained the most popularity with that name. There are tophat disambigs to other artists' songs with that same name.
I think it's acceptable to have the Chamillonaire version without a parenthetical in the title. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Infoman99 (talk • contribs) 21:34, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- To avoid losing the previous editions of both pages, I suggest a fusion of historical, if possible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.124.72.127 (talk) 21:43, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Censorship
I took the liberty of adding a section on what line of Ridin' is censored for the clean edit, because there was one in Like a Boss, which also has a clean version.

50 million views on YouTube?
The article claims that Weird Al's video has 50 million more views, but the view count is almost on parity, with both videos currently about 105 million views each. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Electricmaster (talk • contribs) 17:55, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
