Vankhama is writer of Mizo literature. Vankhama is well known for his use of words in Mizo Literature not used by others. Among his famous works are Tlaizawng Par, Nunrawng Hmelṭha, Rimawi ram & Mizo Vaihlo. He has composed over 50 songs[1]. He received much of his musical training from the missionaries to Mizoram[2].
Personal
He was born in Diarkhai village, His father was the first Mizo Pastor Vanchhunga. He studied in various places including Shillong, Silchar and Calcutta. He is also father of two well known mizo singers Vanhlupuii and Vanlalruati[3].
