Fall Out Boy's as-yet untitled upcoming full-length is the follow up to 2005's From Under the Cork Tree, tentively titled "Thriller".
The album was originally planned for release at the end of 2006, but lead singer Patrick Stump said in an interview with Kerrang! that the album's release date has been pushed back to 5 February 2007. This is a Monday, therefore reflecting the release date in Europe, while a US release date would conventionally follow the next day 6 February 2007. Bassist Peter Wentz has recently confirmed a lead single at the end of the year, to be "It Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race". Fall Out Boy will be debuting the song live on November 21st at the American Music Awards. It will ship to radio that night with an impact date set for December 5th.
On November 9th, the song "Carpal Tunnel of Love" was leaked on to absolutepunk.net and various file-sharing sites. It has been described as different and a more "punk" approach than songs from their last album, From Under The Cork Tree, and has garnered mixed reviews.

Possible Tour
It is said that to promote the new album, they are going on tour in 2007 with The Academy Is..., Cobra Starship, and Jack's Mannequin, but this has not been confirmed. Also Gym Class Heroes is another rumored Tourmate. Also mentioned was a club tour prior to the next album and meet and greets for everyone who attends a show.
They are also doing a few holiday radio shows.
