But when the building was finished with no budget, the Patrol Hospital (now Police Hospital) then asked for a place. Therefore, at the initial stage of service opening, therefore called Patrol Hospital to provide services to police officers and patients from various cases on July 7, 1900, with the addition of 36 beds for patients after opening service. Bangkok Metropolitan Administration General Hospital, popularly known as Klang Hospital (Template:Lang-th; lit: Central Hospital) is a public tertiary hospital in Thailand located on corner of the Luang and Suea Pa Roads, Pom Prap Subdistrict, Pom Prap Sattru Phai District, Bangkok.

The hospital was established in 1898 with the royal permission of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) for the aim of providing of services for large number prostitutes in this area (Chinatown and Phlapphla Chai) in order to prevent epidemics.
