Candice Brown (born December 21, 1984) is a British reality television personality. She is most known as the winner of the seventh series of The Great British Bake Off;[1] in her victory speech she attributed her success to starting baking at four years old.[2]
In November 2016, it was reported that she had left her job as a PE teacher at Ashlyns School, Berkhamsted in order to pursue a career in baking.[3]
She occasionally cooks on the ITV daytime show This Morning. On 1 November 2017, it was announced that Brown would be taking part in the tenth series of Dancing on Ice on ITV,[4] where she was partnered with Matt Evers.[5]
On 1st January 2019, Brown returned for The Great New Year's Bake Off, however she was not crowned Star Baker, losing out to series 8 runner up, Steven Carter-Bailey.
On 4th January 2019, she appeared on Celebrity Mastermind. Her specialist subject was Audrey Hepburn and she subsequently won the episode.
