Spectemur agendo is a Latin motto meaning Let us be judged by our acts. It was the motto of The Royal Dragoons (1st Dragoons).

It is also the motto of the Cap and Skull Senior Honor Society (Rutgers College), the Beta Charge of Theta Delta Chi Fraternity at Cornell University, Westminster Choir College, Clyde House (formerly Clyde School), Geelong Grammar School, Kingsbury High School, Lismore High School,(was the motto of South Sydney Boys High School, Australia) and also the motto of the Northern English town of Barnsley and as such appears with the town crest on the shirts of Barnsley FC.

Camberwell Grammar School, a Church of England school for boys in Melbourne, Australia also wears the motto, preferring the translation By our deeds may we be known.
