He is a graduate of the American University of Beirut (AUB), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Business School.

Nicolas is an economist, financier and businessman.

He is currently the General Secretary of the Lebanese Economic Organizations and the President of the Beirut Traders Association, he sits on the Board of Trustees of MIT and is the past president of the MIT Alumni Association worldwide. He is also the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors at Cedrus Bank SAL, owning 15% of the shares of the bank, and the Managing Partner of the Elie D. Chammas & Co.
