Michael Ryan Pritchard (born May 4, 1972) is the bassist for the punk band Green Day.

He met Billie Joe Armstrong in 1982 a few months before Billie's father's death. Mike founded first The Sweet Children with Billie, and then Green Day in 1988. Green Day put out 1,000 Hours their first EP and Slappy was 1990 as their second EP. Green Day recently released American Idiot in 2004, which has been #1 on the charts.
