Collège du Léman (CDL) is an elite swiss boarding and day school, for Boys and Girls from 3 to 18 years old,[2] currently based in Versoix, canton of Geneva, Switzerland. It has been cited as "one of the most exclusive boarding schools"[3] and has approximately 1900 students representing more than 100 nationalities and has been accredited by both the European Council of International Schools and the NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges).[4].
History
The school was founded in 1960 by M. Francis Clivaz. It was at first sold to Meritas (education) which is a group of for profit schools headquartered in the United States. Afterwards it was then sold to Nord Anglia Education in 2015 which is also a for-profit corporation headquartered in Hong Kong and listed on the New York Stock Exchange[5]. As of 2015-2016 fall semester, Mr. Thomas Schädler[6] is the Director General of CdL.

CDL's (upper) secondary education (Middle and High School) is not approved as a Mittelschule/Collège/Liceo by the Swiss Federal State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI).[7]
International
