The Doink'd damage system is the Chuck E. Cheese tunnel system of the player about to hit the head on the character.

In its first appearince, it is shown that the system is purple and orange instead of blue.

Similar to 2 systems: Batman comics and Amazing fantisry comics
In the spinoff series for Fox and Cartoon Network Hole in the Wall, the character is also damaged and it included a word as nod to the Opeah magazine style of the series.
