The railway has two stations, Stopham Road which is the main station with the ticket office and Harden Halt which is used for Christmas Services along with some things for galas. The locomotives that are used mainly are Exmoors Peggy and Pulborough. Other locomotives like the LNER Flying Scotsman or the LMS Mogul can be seen on two train days. The railway also has a rake of scale goods wagons with a fully working break van, this is usally out on gala days.


The railway is owned and operated by the 'South Downs Light Railway Society'. During the latter part of 2006 the line underwent extension. A new engine shed and carriage sheds have recently been added.
