Accidents/incidents

In July of 2006, a Condor 767 flying from Frankfurt DE to Orlando, FL USA had to make an emergency landing in Tampa, FL. This was caused by a number of reasons. The day that this flight was landing, Orlando had seen a series of very bad weather, halting flights. This caused other flights to be backed-up creating congestion. The Condor flight was forced to circle in the air until the other flights have landed. After flying all the way from Germany, it had low fuel and could not circle any longer. The pilot made the decision to land in the nearby Tampa airport. No one on this flight was injured and an hour later, they proceeded on to Orlando. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.119.250.168 (talk) 00:34, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Condor Flugdienst → Condor (airline) – Though "Condor Flugdienst GmbH" is the airline's official name (see e.g. [1]), the full name is obscure and rarely used in practice.
