In my opinion this is one of the most important sieges ever to take place in the Mediterreanean history. Were it not for this siege, all of Western Europe would have become Muslim. Unfortunately few know about this event in Medieval History; therefore by niminating it for FA, others will come to appreciate it more and more. It is a pity that many Europeans waste a lot of time on unimportant things, and yet do not know their own history. I am aware of the fact that it might be too short, therefore I would appreciate it if you would edit it and help expant this article.
