Marjorie O'Neill has been a member of Waverley Municipal Council in Sydney, New South Wales since 2017[1], and was elected to the New South Wales Legislative Assembly on 23 March 2019 representing the Sydney Electoral district of Coogee for the Australian Labor Party[2].

Early life and education

O'Neill has a PhD in Management and Economics and is a business school academic.[3]

Interests

O'Neill has been a volunteer surf lifesaver[4] She has also played rugby.
