College career

From 2004 to 2009, Jurovich played for the San Jose State Spartans football team. He majored in communications.[1]

After redshirting his freshman season in 2004, Jurovich debuted in 2005 as a safety, holding the ball for kick-scoring attempts.[1] As a redshirt sophomore in 2006, during his team's run to the 2006 New Mexico Bowl, Jurovich left the team in October due to a hand injury, among other reasons. Jurovich returned to the team in 2007 as a wide receiver.[3][1][4]

After the second game of the 2008 season, Jurovich sat out the rest of 2008 due to a spleen infection.[1][2] In his final season in 2009, Jurovich led the Spartans in pass receiving with 60 receptions for 777 yards and one touchdown.[1]
