Speedy deletion nomination of LadybiRdS
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on LadybiRdS requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. —Largo Plazo (talk) 04:44, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Regional Community Theatre (album).jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Regional Community Theatre (album).jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:06, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Pirate!
Hello NorthPark1417,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Pirate! for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Patchwork (compilation album) moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Patchwork (compilation album), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Inline citations needed
Hi NorthPark1417, Good day. I am one of the article reviewers and I noticed you have created some article which you have provide "online" and "print" sources for the article you created. However, the rightway to do it is to provide inline citations on the body text so we reviewer could locate the which sources support which section/sentence in the article. Pls visit refereeing for beginners for info and instructions. Pls provide inline citations at soonest so we could review it and get the article publish. Thank you. The article Dagger (zine) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
References only present in-passing mentions. Fails WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Randykitty (talk) 19:00, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
Nomination of Dagger (zine) for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Dagger (zine) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

Article: Michael Nestor
Hi, I am on the edge of whether this page is notable enough to be its own. I don't want to make any more edits without talking this through, namely that I think you should remove the "education" section. I don't think it is relevant to the context of the article. I think doing that would make this better and less apt to notability challenges in my opinion, as least from me. You don't want to overstate this musician. Ricksanchez (talk) 08:10, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
Hello Ricksanchez, Nestor has been in three notable groups and is listed in eight notable albums, and has founded a record label. For the education, he passes Academic, being a Fellow at three prestigious institutions and authoring a large number of white papers and journals. - NorthPark1417 (talk) 08:30, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
I reviewed the Academic guidelines and this person does not fully meet the criteria. They must have publications that have "significant impact" on the field. This person has plenty of publications and a great publication record, but it is a hard to say any of them have "significant" impact. This might be a point of contention. They may down the line, but as of right now they do not. The positions at prestigious institutions are postdoctoral fellowships, not assistant, associate, or full professorships, one of these is a staff scientist position, so I am not sure if that would qualify. Thus, none of them fully qualify under Academic, although a quick Google search does show this person is a Director at his current institute, which may mildly qualify. Here is what I would be OK with, could you find at least 1-2 more references to back up this section? Also, your link to the Hussman Institute is incorrect. There is no wiki page for The Hussman Institute for Autism, you are welcome to make one, I am happy to help as I kind of got roped into this via my editing of The Seldon Plan. Just be prepared for others who are more agressive than me, and don't like to talk things out first (I am an old fogie user from when WP was a nicer place) to slap deletes/notability on this, and be ready to argue your case.Ricksanchez (talk) 15:37, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- NorthPark1417 Please consider providing more substance under the "Underlined Passages" section of this article. In addition, please consider removing the current employment under the "Education" section. It would be OK to list Fellowships but current employment is not education and might be a violation of terms. Ricksanchez (talk) 03:06, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

Ways to improve Hoboken Music Awards
Hello, NorthPark1417,
Thanks for creating Hoboken Music Awards! I edit here too, under the username Onel5969 and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-
Nice articles on these bands, etc. On this one, can you find any non-regional coverage of the event? That would solidify it's notability.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Onel5969}}

April 2019
Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Jersey Beat, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:17, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Jersey Beat shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. List of Bar/None Records artists moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, List of Bar/None Records artists, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published.
Speedy deletion nomination of Tim Hinely
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Tim Hinely requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. -- RoySmith (talk) 14:43, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Health Palm
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Health Palm requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
This is the only warning you will receive about ownership of articles, which you showed at Jersey Beat. The next time you continue to disruptively edit Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. There is nothing to discuss. Read WP:OVERLINK and MOS:INFOBOX, specifically MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE. They are not for links, they're for summarizing articles. If you want to discuss, do so on the talk page. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:34, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- And for the record, if you're going to tell me to follow BRD you should do so yourself. The last time we tried it, you ignored any rational point and avoided making any policy-based arguments. When I called for normal dispute resolution and someone said that you were wrong and we should compromise, you ignored it. So I have every reason to believe you're WP:NOTHERE to work cooperatively on building an encyclopedia. If you'd like to first read OVERLINK and then discuss why the United States in an infobox needs to be linked based on it, feel free to. You were bold, you were reverted so you start the discussion. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:42, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Jersey Beat; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:47, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
Following WP:BRD on Jersey Beat. Edit was a link for United States, for an American magazine. (Fantastic, Notre-Dame de Paris)
Decline reason:
WP:BRD does not override WP:3RR - it is BRD, not BRRRRRRR - you must do the D. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:32, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
- I read WP:3RR and it says editors violating 3RR will usually be blocked for 24 hours for a first incident. @El C: - NorthPark1417 (talk) 11:49, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Usually. Not always. Please read WP:GAB before making any further unblock requests, because this was not an unblock request. Yamla (talk) 12:14, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

- And Yamla told you that it is "Usually. Not always." It is up to admin discretion. You need to focus on your behaviour, not on nit-picking details of 3RR policy. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:08, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- That's with four reverts. With five I usually extend it to 48 hours, and I take it to 72 hours for six reverts. El_C 18:27, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- @Binksternet:, revert this edit, and discuss on Infobox talk page. The modification of a featured article has implication of unwritten changes in the manual of style. - NorthPark1417 (talk) 08:03, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
