Lao Aviation Flight 703 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Xam Neua to Vientiane, Laos. On 19 October 2000, the Harbin Yunshuji Y-12-II was crashed into the mountain 12 km away from the airport due to pilot error. At least eight passengers died while seven passengers and two crews survived, but they were injured afterwards.
