Edison Middle School is a three-year public middle school located in Wheaton, Illinois. It is a part of community unit school district 200. The mascot is a panther with the school colors black and gold.
Academics
Edison Middle School has 700 students collectively attending between sixth, seventh, and eighth grade[1] For the past five consecutive years, Edison has received the Illinois Blue Ribbon for Health Education award, as well as the Illinois Academic Excellence Award in 2009-2011[1]
Philosophy
Edison Middle School believes in giving the best possible education and safety to every child. They have access to newer technology to help create opportunities for each student to succeed.[1] Edison's mission statement is to "cultivate the unique potential of each child in a nurturing and collaborative environment"[1].
