T. M. Jobaer is a Major General and head of National Security Intelligence, the main civil intelligence agency in Bangladesh.[1]
Career
In 2011, he served as a Director of National Security Intelligence. In his position, he focused on the War on Terror and identified Hizb ut-Tahrir as as the biggest threat among terror organizations in South Asia in an interview with The Outlook.[2][3]
On 31 July 2018, Jobaer was appointed Director General of National Security Intelligence. He replaced General Shamsul Haque who was returned to Bangladesh Army.[4]
