Rachel Anne McDowall (born 4 October 1984) is an English actress.
Early life
McDowall was born on 4 October 1984 in Liverpool, England. She developed an affinity for drama while attending Wade Deacon High School, in Widnes, Cheshire. After high school, McDowall continued her acting studies at Laine Theatre Arts college in Epsom.
Career
McDowall made her film debut as Lisa in the 2008 film Mamma Mia! The Movie, and had her last of eight film or television roles in a 2016 episode of Zoe Ever After.
McDowall also has a background in theatre. She has played in Mel Brooks' hit musical "The Producers" in West End of London, playing the part of Swedish stunner "Ulla". She also played the lead role of Velma Kelly in two productions of the musical Chicago in the West End: the Cambridge Theatre in 2008[1] and the Garrick Theatre in 2012.[2]
Personal life
McDowall married former The Bachelorette 2007 contestant Constantine Tzortzis on 16 May 2014[3] in Cumming, GA. Tzortzis had left The Bachlorette late in his season, admitting that he was not in love with the lead lady.
