Senida Hajdarpašić (born 9 April 1985), known by her stage name Senidah, is a Slovenian singer-songwriter. She rose to prominence as a lead singer of the Slovenian pop band MUFF. Senidah acquired regional popularity following the release of her solo single "Slađana" in March 2018.

Life and career

She debuted with the solo single "Pustinjom" (Through a Desert) in 2010, but soon joined pop and blues band MUFF. Their debut single "Naj sijev v oceh" (Keep the Glow in the Eye) was awarded the song of the year in Slovenia.[1] MUFF were the runners-up in the preselection of Slovenia's entry for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest and their eponymous debut album was later awarded the Album of the Year.

Senidah rose to regional fame in March 2018 upon the release of her debut single in Serbian "Slađana" for the Belgrade based hip-hop label Bassivity Digital.[2] In June, she released her second solo single "Belo" (White), whilst in August, she was featured on "4 strane sveta" (4 Sides of the World) by Coby, a soundtrack single for Serbian movie Južni Vetar.[3][4] At the end of the year Senidah released "Bez tebe" (Without You) and "Nisi bio tu" (You Weren't There). She won Hip-hop Song of the Year award for "Slađana" at 2019 Music Awards Ceremony.[5]

In March 2019, Senidah released her debut solo English single, titled "Ride", for Universal Serbia, which had been recorded a couple of years prior. Her debut album Bez tebe was released on March 25, entirely in Serbian.[6] On 21 April she performed at Bassivity Showcase in Belgrade Sports Hall, alongside Bassivity Digital collective.[7] Senidah released two new singles "Mišići" (Muscles) and "Sve bih" ([I] Would Like Everything) featuring Atlas Erotika for FCKN A! in April and May, respectively. She was announced to perform at Exit Gang and Sea Dance Festival.[8][9]
