Zephian Thomas (October 27,1992 - Present), better known by his stage name Pharaoh2Tone (Stylized as Pharaoh2Tone), is an American rapper from Spartanburg, South Carolina. He is an Unsigned and Independent artist. He is currently set to releas his debut EP "S3t the Tone" and debut album "Tone SZN"the fall of 2019. Pharaoh2Tone has released a series of mixtapes titled "Progressional Vibes". Chapter 1 and 2 has been released on April 23, 2019. The follow up from the third chapter is set to release July 2019. He is best known for his freestyles "INTRo" , "Longevity" , and "I'm Home", then later being highlighted as one of the most versatile artists from South Carolina.
Early life
Pharaoh2Tone was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina. His family introduced him to music at the early age of 11. He grew up influenced by music icons such as Jay-Z, Tupac Shakur, and Lil Wayne.
Biography
South Carolina has a new sound emerging onto the music scene and its building momentum. Pharaoh2Tone finally found direction for a new well balanced tone of music for the buzzing “Carolina Wave”. His creative, lyrical yet versatile style allows him to tell his story not only through rap but also through his poetic skills. He can regularly make records to lyrically captivate any audience with his life’s history. Then, switches it up to make smooth records with vibes to make you appreciate the ones around you or the female of your dreams.
Career
Pharaoh2Tone embarked upon his rap career in elementary school. It wasn’t long before the South Carolina native started recording in high school, locally battle rapping, rap showcases, engineering local artists, and even starting a clothing brand while modeling. With so many different directions he took, he fell short in efforts of the main focus, which was the creating music. While struggling to fine his sound, he took a break and studied the patterns of the industry. He cut ties with the groups he was rapping with, and rebranded himself from “ King Youngin “ in preparation for the new vision he had in mind, "Pharaoh2Tone"!
In 2018 he dropped four EPs in one month before deploying with the military to test the feedback of the new support. The year was full of set-backs, lessons, and the perfect opportunity to get that hunger back that was needed! After the 2019 return Pharaoh2Tone dropped the anniversary tape “ Progressional Vibes Chapter 1 “ for fans of his old music and 2 for new fans after the rebrand. Presently, he is building momentum with the debut tape since he rebranded to the name Pharaoh2Tone. Progressional Vibes Chapter 3 will display fully his versatility with different beats, flows, and topics from bass driven songs to the smoothest beats from the industry. He plans to drop the most mixtapes he ever dropped in a year and to finish off the year with an independent album if it all lines up right for him titled “ Tone SZN “.
