Dilshad Colony, also known as DC by its residents, is a large housing colony situated in North East Delhi built mainly by private builders. A nearby colony named Dilshad Garden is primarily developed by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). Dlshad colony fall under the well devoloped private colonies in the Delhi. The demography mostly comprices of upper middle class / saried proffossionals. It is a peacefull socity having one community center a govt school and one govt dispensory few parks and a functional RWA. People live in quite harmony here. It enjoys good connectivity. At the back end there is DTC dipot & Dilshad garden metro is aprox,500m from the colony. There are 6 hospitals/clinic inside the colony,few are reputed. It enjoys ganga water by DJB. Electricity condition is also perfect. Many a socio-cultural associations active in the colony. Shopping places are very near- grocery store to vegitable/fish etc. A line of supermarkets/education/ coaching centers/reputed schools in the colony and its proxymity.
