Hi One Of Seven Billion, this is no big deal but I just wanted to suggest you use a different terminology in your edit summary when delinking redlinks. The convention here is that a "broken link" refers to a malformed or link-rotted URL. Redlinks are Wikilinks that are often intentionally set up as indicators that an article should be written on the topic. For example if I was writing an article on the history of Albania and I noticed that there was no article on one of the country's most prominent modern politicians then I might give a brief description of his influence on the country and leave a redlink to him in the article so that other editors might notice that there is no article on that notable figure and would then be encouraged to write one on that topic. By delinking redlinks you're essentially making the editorial decision that the redlinked target is not notable enough to support a stand-alone article. That's an OK position to take but I just wanted to warn you that using the phrase "removing broken link" might be considered misleading by some people who are used to Wikipedia's terminology conventions. So just a heads up. -Thibbs (talk) 17:48, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Auric. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Fornication without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Just a note that the link does work and Morocco is a real country. Auric talk 17:09, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Mary Ann - Black Lace.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:56, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Eaton House Group of Schools, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kensington and Chelsea. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi One Of Seven Billion. Please do not unilaterally remove ongoing deletion discussions from FfD, like you did here. This is inappropriate conduct, and may result in a block. Thanks for your understanding. Kind Regards, FASTILY 19:36, 20 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback granted

Hi One Of Seven Billion. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Widr (talk) 20:57, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
