The City of Edinburgh Kings are a basketball team based in the city of Edinburgh, Scotland. They compete in Division 1 of the Scottish Men's National League, the highest level in Scotland and the second highest in the United Kingdom, behind the professional British Basketball League (BBL).[citation needed]

Record in BBL competitions

In 2006/07, 2011/12 and 2012/13, the Kings competed in the BBL Trophy as invitees, exiting at the First Round.[citation needed]

Awards

In 2007, the City of Edinburgh Basketball Club Committee was awarded the Chairman's Award by basketballscotland. The award was given at the 2007 Volunteer Awards held in Perth, Scotland.[2]

The club also picked up four Scottish Cups in 2007: Cadet Women, Junior Men, Junior Women, and Senior Men.[3]
