Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering is an engineering college located in the Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh,India. Near by cities Guntur and Vijayawada.

KLC Engineering college is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. The college is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
History
The college is the dream of Mr. Koneru Lakshmaiah, a renowed industrialist. He was the first person to apply for a private engineering college in Andhra Pradesh. He was an engineering graduate from Bangalore and had a dream of establishing a private engineering college in the state of Andhra Pradesh to produce good engineer for the future of India.
His vision is to make this college a Deemed University.
Departments
The College started with four conventional Disciplines in 1980. At present it offers 9 programmes in the undergraduate courses and 5 programmes in the post-graduate courses. It has a total built up area of 38045 m². Each branch has a separate building with well established laboratories. The college has three computer centers catering to the computing needs of the students and staff. The college has a very good workshop housing various trades. The Freshman Engineering Department is a unique concept of KLCE to nurture the incoming fresh first year students in diverse activities.
The library, the college's prime information source, has a rich collection of books, journals, magazines and News Papers. The college has a boy's hostel at a walkable distance from the college premises and girl's hostel is located with in the college premises.
