Omar Ayuso (born March 25, 1998 in Madrid) is a Spanish actor.[1] He is known for playing Omar Shanaa, in the Netflix Original TV series Élite.[2]
Career
He started his career when he was 17 in El Continental, a series produced by Televisa.
He gained recognition after playing the role of Omar Shanaa in Élite, a series from the streaming service Netflix. He was discovered by a producer of the series who was looking for someone to play the role of Nadia's brother. He stepped up to the challenge and became one of the series' most beloved characters.[3] The actor is confirmed to be part of the second season scheduled to be released on September 2019.[4]
As of 2019, he is confirmed to star in the short film Disseminare.[5]
