Acacia pravissima (Ovens wattle or wedge-leaved wattle), is a species of evergreen shrub in the family Fabaceae native to Victoria, the South West Slopes and Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia.[1]
The Latin specific epithet pravissima means “very crooked”.[2]
It grows to 5 m (16 ft), producing racemes of yellow flowers in winter and spring.
In cultivation in temperate climates it is usually grown under glass. This plant has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.[3]
