Plot

Pandit Gangadhar Choudhary rules a small community in rural India with an iron fist, forbidding anyone from speaking out against him. He owns most of the land surrounding his palace - save for the small patch of land that is owned by Veer Singh.

One day, Pandit summons Veer to his house, and offers to buy Singh's land for a substantial sum, but Veer refuses. Gangadhar has him killed. Veer's wife then dies of shock in reaction to the death of her husband, leaving behind their son.

Years go by and Suraj, the son of Veer Singh, resigns following a meritorious career, and returns to his home village to avenge his father's death.
