I don't live in Johnson City anymore, but I have an ongoing interest in the area, and visit it periodically. I have a collection of pictures and postcards of the E-J plants, but I haven't learned to upload them yet.

A separate article about the Carousel Capitol of the World makes sense. Many people who will be interested in the Carousels of the triple cities will have little interest in E-J who's factories are now mostly long gone.

I suggest you leave the very short treatment I gave the subject (as an enduring legacy of Endicott-Johnson), but yes, yes! a link to a separate more in depth article would be terrific. There's a lot to say about Carousels generally, and what percentage of the total of wood carved ones are in the Triple Cities area, and all that. I'll happily leave all that to you, and I'll be happy to send you what research I have on the chance you will want to use it. For example, how's this as an amazing bunch of (what are probably) facts: Between 1880 and 1930, the golden age of carousels, over 10,000 were built. Fewer than 200 remain and six of them are in Broome County! Nationwide only 13 carousels remain at the site where they were originally built, five of those are in Broome County (the Highland Park carousel was originally at Ideal Park now the site of U-E football stadium). NC Highways WikiProject

Hey Nimur and welcome to the North Carolina State Highways WikiProject. Just edit and add stuff when and where you feel like it. I've noticed from the NC 54 and NC 55 articles, that you've pretty much got the idea on how it works. I just made a few edits on the infoboxes, which are no real biggies; they are just uniform proceedure stuff that we've picked up from other route WikiProjects. Right now, to get you up to speed on what's going on, we're having a so-called "naming convention" on the talk page of WP:NCSH about what the title of the NC Highway articles should be called. Right now we're using the "North Carolina State Highway x" format (where x is the route number). A member named User:SPUI requested that we change this format to "NC x"... something that I believed was too vague. So, we've been trying to compromise and so far we've come up with a "North Carolina Highway x" format to prevent something called a neologism that I just recently found the defintion to. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you can comment on that debate... and if you need anything, you can usually find it on the project page or just message us. --TinMan 22:17, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks a lot for your support in the Guardians article. I reread the article and it sounds a lot better than before. Your work is very much appreciated and the wording is excellent. When I first read the Guardians article i was truly shocked to see such blatant racist statements about the Palestinians and others. Everyone has his biases but any objective person could see the explicit false and innacurate statements so i was outraged at how such an article could have been left unnnoticed (I wonder for how long though?). NC 54

I believe your statement that NC 54's eastern terminus is near the capitol. I've seen maps and sources that say it ends at I-440 and others that say it ends near McDowell Street or other near the capitol. Can you find the exact terminus intersection in Raleigh? One of my most trusted maps has it ending at the intersection of Hillsborough and Salisbury streets. --TinMan 19:37, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks - After reviewing I found way to many that should not be linked. I've asked him to rerun it without Category:U.S. Highways in North Carolina & Category:Interstate Highways in North Carolina - This is spiderwebbing way to many articles. Also should remove the sub-sub Category:Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Too may Cats of Cats. Better to figure it out now though before we tag. I've taken a steb back and working on User:Betacommand/rollback and selecting Categories for removal from the tagging.
