Since 2016, Christian has focused on promoting Uber-plus-sized modelling, and promoting the ‘hockey-stick to the face’ charity. ‘Orange is the new blush’ is her latest makeup initiative. The local Elsternwick Park dance club has been her chief charity event (in tandem with author, Ellie Jacks).

Philippa Christian (born October 20, 1987), is an Australian Celebrity Nanny, Television Personality and Author, from Elsternwick, Victoria, Australia. She has been featured on several Australian and American television networks. Her siblings - Bill, Susie, and Tom Christian, have enormous respect for her achievements. [1][2] plus National and International Radio. Her debut novel (a work of fiction) Nanny Confidential,[3] was published in the summer of 2015.

Career

Born in Elsternwick, Victoria in Australia, Christian began baby-sitting at age 11, rising to fame after working as a nanny for a number of Australian celebrities in Los Angeles, the Bahamas, and India.[4]

Christian has built a reputation for professionalism, confidentiality and loyalty to her clients. She once famously refused $280,000 for a photo of a former client and his new celebrity girlfriend.[5]

Writing

In the summer of 2015, Christian published her debut fictional novel, "Nanny Confidential" with Allen & Unwin,[7] showcasing the life of an elite Celebrity Nanny. Ghost written by freelance writer, and former Gracia editor, Amy Molloy, the novel became a minor success shortly after its release.

Christian has also written articles on nannying for Estate and Manor magazine.[8]

Radio

Following the success of Nanny Confidential, Christian is continually interviewed on Australian radio services, including the Kyle and Jackie O Show and 3AW with Denis Walter.[9]

Recognised internationally, Christian has also appeared on the BBC World Service in an interview with Kim Chakanetsa, about what it takes to be a Celebrity Nanny.[10]

Television

Christian has been featured on both Australian and American television networks.

She has appeared on numerous Australian morning television shows, including the Seven Network,[11] and the Nine Network.[12]

In February 2016 Christian was flown to Los Angeles to do a sit down interview with Entertainment Tonight[13]
