==Image copyright problem with Image:Highdefinition.jpg== |
|||
Thanks for uploading :Image:Highdefinition.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy). |
|||
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this:
TemplateName
. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it. |
|||
Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Welcome
Welcome to Wikipedia! It's always a pleasure to have another editor join—we can never have too many good editors.
Some useful stuff/Things to remember:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia: Our most important principles and philosophies. Or if you're interested in specific polices, see our Policies and Guidelines page.
- Open tasks: These are important things that aren't getting done. We need your help with them.
- Tutorial: What you need to know about editing pages.
- Test area: If you need to test an edit but don't want to perform the test on an article.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk, or leave me a note on my talk page.
- Manual of Style: Suggested content standards.
- Always Always Always try to maintain neutrality in your contributions.
- When you make comments to a discussion page, sign your comments by using the tilde '~' symbol: add four tildes (~~~~) to the end of a post to leave your username and the timestamp.
- Be bold in editing pages.
- The Wikipedia Signpost: Wikipedia's community newspaper.
- A happy editor is always successful. Have fun!

Your adding of links
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. You are, however, encouraged to add appropriate content to the encyclopedia. If you feel the material in question should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Leuko 03:47, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites that you are affiliated with, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. While, we appreciate you adding photos to various articles, please stop adding in the links. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. -- Gogo Dodo 04:41, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue spamming you will be blocked from editing. -- Gogo Dodo 04:43, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Please do not remove legitimate warnings from your talk page or replace them with inappropriate content. Removing or maliciously altering warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted legitimate comments. If you continue to remove or vandalize legitimate warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. Leuko 05:08, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning. Removing legitimate warnings from your talk page is considered disruption. You will be blocked from editing Wikipedia and your talk page will be protected from editing if you do it again. Leuko 05:21, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
