Total Divas is an American reality television series that premiered on July 28, 2013, on E!.[1][2] The series gives viewers an inside look at the lives of WWE Divas from their work within WWE to their personal lives.[3][4][5][6] Season 8 ended on November 28, 2018 with 412 thousand viewers.[7]
Production
On April 3, 2019, Brie and Nikki Bella announced that they would not be returning for the ninth season of Total Divas, as they expressed their desires to focus solely on their spin off Total Bellas.[8]
On August 25, 2019, it was announced by the Total Divas twitter account that three new cast members would be joining the show for its ninth season, alongside Naomi, Natalya, and Nia Jax.[9] With this announcement, it officially confirmed that Lana and Paige had also departed the show as series regulars, amidst the array of speculation about the cast changes that arose throughout the year.
