Pip is an often mistreated character in South Park, who is heavily based on the protagonist with the same name from the Charles Dickens novel Great Expectations. He is an awkward British exchange student who is frequently mistaken (to his intense irritation) for being French. It turns out that Pip hates French people. Pip says his parents are dead, but has been seen with a British family so it is assumed that they adopted him. Before coming to South Park, he attended Stratfordshire Primary in Stratford, England, and excelled in archery. This is probably because no English orphanage would take him after his parents died, until someone from South Park took him in. Though a once prominent character, Pip role declined due to the increasing usage of Butters. He is usually seen as a background character playing with the other boys. He is not generally a foul-mouth, but he has been known to utter a few swear words when very angry.
Notable appearances

Cartman Gets An Anal Probe - Pip is set on fire by Cartman's flaming fart.
Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride - Pip is the only football player without a helmet, despite his constant pleas to Chef. He fills in for Stan during the homecoming game and is beaten up by the Middle Park team.

In season 10, he was shown by a rare close-up of his face in Mystery of the Urinal Deuce and Go God Go.
