Maxwell Scherrer Cabelino Andrade, or simply Maxwell, (born August 27, 1981, in Vila Velha, Brazil) is a Brazilian football player currently playing for Internazionale. He plays as a left back or winger in the midfield.

His former clubs were Cruzeiro Esporte Clube and Ajax Amsterdam. His contract with Ajax Amsterdam was shortened to expire on the 2nd of January 2006, in order to join Internazionale on a free transfer. Due to one non-EU and non-Serie A player registeration quota per year, he was loaned to Empoli F.C. In July 2006, Internazionale officially announced the signing of Maxwell on a four-year contract.

Despite being 25 year-old, he scored in F.C. Internazionale Milano Primavera 7-0 Vicenza Calcio, November 4, 2006.
