The content of the Cast and characters section should be merged into the full article entitled List of characters in The Mummy series.12.196.210.18 (talk) 17:12, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

adventure film?

is horror a sub-genre of adventure? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.180.61.58 (talk) 09:31, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Split off the Scorpion King franchise

I suggest that The Scropion King — The Mummy franchise be split off, since it is notable by itself, and is independent of the other films listed here, and a clearly linked together set of spin-offs and sequels. 184.144.163.245 (talk) 07:17, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. If a separate article would made, it wouldn't have much depth at all. After all, The Scorpion King spin-offs are only made up of one theatrically-released movie and one direct-to-DVD sequel so far. I do not call that notability. Byakuya Truelight (talk) 11:28, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Comment The nominator says "The Scorpion King - The Mummy" I suppose this means the six movies (Mummy 1,2,3, Scorpion King 1,2,3) Certainly those are separate and separatable from the rest of the content on this article. 65.93.12.101 (talk) 06:21, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
In that case I have no preference one way or the other, but if that's what the nominator means, then the heading they used for this section is rather unclear. Byakuya Truelight (talk) 08:34, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why have the Scorpion King movies been removed from this article? They're a part of the franchise. Byakuya Truelight (talk) 18:15, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What should I do?

Two questions

  1. . Can the box office amounts and the critical reception figures be added to this page?
  2. . Should the Scorpion King franchise be at the same level as the Stephen Sommers franchise, or a subsection of it? Allen (Morriswa) (talk) 04:15, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How exactly is the Hammer series part of Universals franchise?

Either this article should be about the Universal franchise, or about Mummies in film.★Trekker (talk) 13:38, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Was wondering that myself. Unless Hammer asked Universal for a special license for base their film directly on the Universal films. I fail to see the connection. Thus I removed the Hammer films.DoctorHver (talk) 03:35, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
