Hello, I'm Jonathan Colkett from Edinburgh, UK. I am musical and artistic. I have only recently (April 2019) bought my first computer. My first "smartphone" was bought in 2016. For thirty years, 1989 - 2019, I deliberately steered clear of automobiles and tech, preferring long walks, literature and philosophy to consumerism. I love words. I see them as the building-blocks of a social or solitary perception of the external world which can sometimes gracefully avoid duplicating its problems. I love redundancy, the permitted turn of phrase, grammar and mere formality, in which the words essential to our meaning are couched. Competence is cohesive specificity; sing it. - Jonathan Colkett 06:01, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
