Kumpinipuram is a small village in Nandalur Mandal, Cuddapah in Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. The local language here is Telugu. The village comes under Nookinunipalle Panchayath. Coming to its mapping and directions, the village has the district headquarters, Cuddapah, also known as Kadapa, at a distance of 52 kilometers towards its West and it has the common capital of the two states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh at 407 kilometres towards its North.

Also, the other surrounding villages and towns of Kumpinipuram. Tangutur at 4 KM, Siddavaram at 5 KM, Yerra Cheruvu Palli at 6 KM, Narayana Nellore at 9 KM, Singanamala at 9 KM. And other connecting mandals situated near to the village are – Penagalur towards its South East, Rajampet to it's South, Vontimitta towards its west direction. Whereas, the hamlet has only a few connecting towns at a shorter distance to it, namely Venkatagiri in Nellore, Coastal Andhra, and Rayachoti in Kadapa.

APSRTC runs a good number of buses from Rajampet and Kadapa that are easily reachable from other major cities and towns of the two states.

Nature attractions to Kumpinipuram

One of the famous green reserves – the Turupukonda Reserved forest is just only 76 Kms away from this Cuddapah district. Also, Penna river is barely 80 Kms from it. Both are towards the Northern region of the village.

Sri Bhoga Anjaneya Swamy Temple

A visit to this small village is worth a mile as it has a prominent and ancient temple with Anjaneya Swamy being the main deity. Unknown to its age, the shrine of great history attracts a good number of pilgrims and visitors.

An interesting trivium about the temple is that there is a whole street that is located just behind the temple specially dedicated and harbors the temple’s priests and their families who have been serving God and his temple for several years now.

The month of February sees a hell lot of footfall to this temple as it hosts the famous ‘Ratha Sapthami’ – a three-day long festival and celebration that is observed here with utmost devotion and passion.
