What isn't a controversy in this movie? The movie has foul laungage and explicit puppet sex. Live Freaky Die Freaky was banned from movie theatres so the only way to see the movie is buying it at a record store. |

Story
Live Freaky Die Freaky is a stop motion animated film based on the Charles Manson murders. It's a wacky musical dark-comedy which starts out with a futuristic nomad from the year 3069 who finds a copy of healter Skelter which takes us as the audience back in time to 1969.
Story/Plot (Spoiler Warning)
The movie starts out with a futuristic Nomad who accidentally discovers the book "Healtor Skealtor" while searching for food in a desert. As he reads we fish back to 1969 where Susan Atkins (who is later named Hadie by Charlie) meets Charlie Manson during a bad LSD trip. Where she is accepted to his family where they plan things to change the world, and make music. After finding out that the snobby, nature hating actress Sharon Tate is supposed to be filming a movie in the desert where they are living, Charlie and the family plot to kill her. They get subliminal messages through songs such as "I Want To Hold Your Hand" by The Beatles, in which to kill Sharon.
Soon after brutally murdering Sharon Tate they go after a grocery man who was mean to one of the members of Charlie's family. They kill him and his wife and are later found by the police in the desert where they have a trial and go to jail.
We go back to the Nomad in 3069 who carves an X in his forehead and uses Charlie Hanson as a sort of Messiah.
